The beginning

In the displays shown ABOVE we have torn a black & white photograph that was taken on a minolta x1000 film camara with a standard 58mm lens. It was taken on a fairly sunny day using 35mm colour film 400 iso approx.

The final result

We love what we done so we have become very fussy too.
But at Photographic Restorations we strongly believe that if you pay for a service then you should be getting that service. Nowdays the internet is flooded with people claiming to do restorations but they are often people that bought a usb gadget a cheap scanner and the bundled software that came with it.
And in all fairness some honestly believe in themselves, But some are just after a quick sale.
Because of our sheer devotion to what we due we have invested in the very best software and equiptment to carry out all he services we offer.
![]() | This photocopy of the origanal was given to us to restore and convert into a sepia image. NOTE the corners especially the bottom left hand corner. The Photo has been damaged by folding and fluid damage (possibly damp).Firstly we make a copy of the original & work from that. We do this so your origanal is always safe. |
![]() | Here have started to re-create the missing sections caused by damp & folding & of course good old sunshine. You will see we have had to do extensive work down the left side of the image. |
![]() | Once we have restored the image we use a professional software to create Sepia effects to the entire image. As this comes from an old image we have kept the overall consept as it would have been at the time it was taken i.e poor focasing. We can also add colour as you will see in some of our images. |
